The Family Resource
Worker (FRW) is vital in the daily operations at the EarlyON Child & Family Centre. This position requires collaboration with children, families, and community partners, helping to create a safe and inclusive environment. The FRW will utilize their solid background in early childhood education or social services to develop and evaluate programs tailored to community needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging family-centered early learning programs
- Build and maintain supportive relationships with families and community partners
- Ensure safe and inclusive program environments for all participants
- Respond to community requests for services and support
- Stay updated on community resources and development initiatives Requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience with families in vulnerable situations
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Ontario class “G” driver’s license Bring your expertise in child development and passion for community support to enhance family resources with OCOF/Nena.
