We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ECE & Montessori teacher to join our educational team on a temporary basis for now, which may result in the permanent position later on. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, developing engaging lesson plans, and supporting children in their academic growth. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and a commitment to children's success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of children.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages child participation and engagement.
- Assess and evaluate child performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support child learning and address any challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity,
and enthusiasm for learning among children.
Experience
- Full ECE licensed and Montessori Trained are required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is an asset.
- Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes is an asset.
- A genuine passion for teaching and commitment to nurturing student growth is essential.
