Mining Underground Electricians - Red Chris Mine - 14/14 - Camp + Charter Travel - Up to $58.06/hr - British Columbia

Barminco Canada is seeking Underground Electricians to join their team at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a FIFO rotation, supporting underground and surface mining equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and a desire to grow within a global mining company.

What You’ll Need

- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency

- Valid Driver’s License; manual transmission experience required

- General computer skills





- Ability to provide your own basic hand tools (most tools provided)

- Ability to pass a pre-employment Fit for Duty medical including alcohol and drug screening

- Ability to work shift camp work on a rotational basis (12-hour days, dayshift/nightshift)

- Ability to move materials up to 50 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions

What Will Make You Stand Out

- 3-5 years of underground electrician experience in mining operations

- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification or 4th year apprentice

- Sandvik development drill maintenance experience

- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act, BC Electrical Code

- Understanding of PLC control systems and high voltage power distribution systems (13.8Kv, 600V motor control centers, VFDs)
