Valard Construction is seeking Electricians (Journeyperson or Apprentice) to join their Substation group in Calgary, Alberta. What You’ll Need

- Journeyperson Electrician certification OR Registered Apprentice Electrician




- Previous experience in the utility construction industry considered an asset
- Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, and quality control
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and understanding of SCADA systems
- Comprehension of EB&G; Principles and lock out / tag out procedures
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Willingness to travel and accommodate multiple shift rotations

What Will Make You Stand Out

- Expertise in medium and high voltage electrical systems, particularly in construction settings and cable terminations
- Experience in medium‑to‑high‑voltage substation construction
