Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Vice President, M&A; and Capital Markets to join the Advisory team. This is a replacement role. You will lead and support a range of complex transactions and capital markets initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic, value‑driven outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

- Lead a range of advisory (sell, buy‑side and capital‑raising) assignments concurrently, assuming responsibility for day‑to‑day execution and delivery of service on projects.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, both internal and external, including accountability for the operational aspects of client engagement.
- Conduct market and industry research, detailed financial analysis, and evaluate key drivers of financial performance.
- Assist in the identification of potential acquisition targets, purchasers and/or investors/lenders.
- Generate new business opportunities within the M&A; and Capital Markets practice and BDO in general, developing long‑term relationships and networks.
- Be entrepreneurial in nature to drive growth and practice management in our growing team.
- Mentor and develop junior level team members.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or related major with a CPA, CFA or CBV designation.
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in capital markets/corporate finance.
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, autonomous, rigorous and able to work under pressure.
- Strong work initiative and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
- Willingness and ability to travel when necessary.
- Motivated to be market‑facing and to drive relationships that lead to future work.

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this role is $88,000 – $134,000 per year.
