This temporary full-time role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a community hospital serving a growing population. Reporting to the program manager, you will be involved in patient assessments, treatment plans, and quality initiatives. A key part of this role is ensuring coordinated patient care within a cooperative framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient evaluations and gather detailed medical histories
• Order necessary medical tests and treatments
• Provide care under the supervision of the Chief Hospitalist
• Contribute to hospital-wide quality improvement projects
• Participate in an interdisciplinary approach to patient health
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant education program
• Certified as a Physician Assistant by the Canadian Academy
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
