Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging lessons in English language arts, including reading, writing
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
- Incorporate technology and Microsoft Office tools to enhance lesson plans and student engagement
- Assess student progress regularly through tests, assignments, and observations; provide constructive feedback
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation




- Collaborate with colleagues support student development and address individual learning needs

Skills

- Proficiency in English language instruction with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with high school student
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records
- Knowledge of special education strategies and experience working with individuals student
- Demonstrated tutoring experience with a focus on literacy, writing skills, and academic support
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for lesson planning and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and communicate effectively with parents
