Responsibilities

- Confidently lead a team through the completion of a bid process under pressure.
- Mentor and train junior estimating staff.
- Assemble accurate, timely and well‑organized estimates, including hard‑bid, construction management and design‑build.
- Organize sub‑contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re‑write binders and assist the buy‑out process.
- Monitor project performance, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub‑trades for future opportunities.
- Distribute sub‑trade quotes to personnel, flag areas of concern and coordinate with management to accommodate risk within the bid price.
- Maintain databases, including labour rates, material pricing, and project costs, for future reference.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in ICI estimating or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, construction contracts, conceptual estimating and unit costs.




- Ability to work effectively and accurately in time‑sensitive situations while delegating to a team.
- Ability to work independently and communicate efficiently and effectively.
- Experience using takeoff software, specifically CostX or BlueBeam.

Salary & Benefits
