We are looking for an experienced Excavator and Dozer Operator for civil/site construction work.

This is a short-term position with the potential to become long-term for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of small and heavy equipment, including:

- Excavators
- Bulldozers
- Loaders
- Skid steers
- Rollers
- Other site equipment

Pay Schedule: Weekly pay

Duties

- Site grading, excavation, and backfilling
- Excavation and backfill for underground services
- Shaping and grading banks, slopes, and site areas
- Checking grades and performing cut-and-fill operations
- Backfilling trenches and excavations
- Creating slopes and mass excavations
- Clearing land and stripping surface materials
- Stockpiling, placing, and moving materials
- Lifting and handling materials safely
- Installing, operating, and removing attachments, including quick-attach buckets, rakes, grading attachments, and levels
- Conducting pre-operational equipment checks
- Completing basic day-to-day maintenance
- Cleaning,



lubricating, and refuelling equipment

Skills
- Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Strong experience operating excavators and dozers
- Grading experience is required
- Moderate ability to read and interpret drawings, grades, and site plans
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious
- Able to work productively in a fast-paced construction workplace
- Results-oriented and capable of multitasking
- Able to work well with others as part of a team

This position is best suited for an experienced operator who understands site grading, excavation, slopes, backfill, and general civil construction work.

We are looking for someone reliable, productive, and capable of working safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Pay: $40.00-$47.00 per hour
