About the Opportunity

Valhalla Medical Pharmacy and Medical Clinic (VMP) is an integrated pharmacy and medical clinic located at 50 Gibbs Road in Etobicoke, a community where roughly 25% of residents within our catchment area currently lack a family physician, nearly twice the provincial average. A disproportionate share of those residents are managing complex chronic conditions, many within adjacent affordable housing communities, with limited access to consistent primary care.

VMP employs a distributed care model, bringing together a network of contracted and partner physicians, pharmacists operating at full clinical scope, and virtual care platforms to create a localised healthcare hub that can respond to the full breadth of community need. Our operating approach prioritises high prescription throughput, efficient dispensing workflows, and seamless integration between clinical and pharmacy services, enabling strong patient retention and coordinated care under one roof.

The clinic operates on an extended-hours model: weekday evenings and consistent weekend availability, structured to capture after-work demand, maximise accessibility for underserved populations, and support continuous patient engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical

- Provide comprehensive family medicine and/or walk-in care, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of

acute and chronic conditions
- Build a patient roster (family medicine)



or manage a high-volume walk-in caseload, depending on practice focus
- Order and interpret diagnostics, prescribe medications, and perform in-clinic procedures within scope of practice
- Coordinate care with specialists, allied health providers, and the on-site pharmacy and nurse practitioner team —

consistent with VMP's integrated, distributed care model

Expanded Clinical Programmes

Deliver or refer patients into VMP's full suite of clinical services:

- Addiction and substance use care
- Chronic pain management
- Travel medicine
- Sexual health and PrEP
- Hepatitis B treatment and prevention
- Chronic disease management and preventative care
- Virtual care (telehealth consultation platform)

Administrative and Billing

- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and OHIP billing records in compliance with CPSO standards
- Participate in VMP's integrated scheduling and patient flow model, supported by the clinic coordinator

Requirements

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited institution; completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
- Active, unrestricted CPSO registration (or eligibility for registration)
- Valid OHIP billing number in valuable standing
- Current CMPA membership or equivalent professional liability coverage
- Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic acumen, and commitment to patient-centred care
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume,



interdisciplinary, community-focused clinical environment

Compensation Option 1 — Independent Practice

Three months rent-free to establish your practice, after which standard clinic space arrangements apply.

Option 2 — Billing Split (Recommended)

70/30 billing split (negotiable). All clinic overhead, space, equipment, administration, and support staff, included at no additional cost. No hidden fees or deductions beyond the agreed split.

Income Illustration (Option 2)

A physician seeing 25–30 patients per day at an average OHIP billing of $75–$90 per visit can expect to gross approximately $480,000–$580,000 annually.

Performance and Growth Incentives

- Performance bonus eligibility for physicians contributing to clinical volume and programme growth milestones
- Equity participation: long-tenure, high-performing physicians may be considered for equity stake as the VMP

model scales across additional sites
