Position Details Position:

Regional HSE Manager – Pacific Region

Location:

Richmond, BC

Start Date:

Immediately

Shift/Rotation:

Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.

Salary Range:

Up to $90,000 - $120,000/year, depending on experience and certifications.

Requirements / Relocation:

Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate. Temporary accommodations may be offered to support relocation.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of effective regional safety programs, ensuring Pacific Region HSE strategy aligns with corporate-wide HSE programs and objectives.

Assist with the implementation of control and monitoring measures related to HSE performance.

Manage, lead, develop, and oversee in-region HSE personnel, including performance reviews and HSE resource scheduling.

Develop and implement HSE policies, including rope access safety policies and procedures for various industrial sites (lead/asbestos abatement, CSE, high-angle work, etc.).

Perform regular field safety audits at all work-sites and offices in the region.

Provide leadership in the investigation of all safety incidents, directing the disposition of corrective actions in a timely manner.

Participate in the design and implementation of special programs to correct adverse safety performance trends.

Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions and suitable work practices.

Provide safety oversight and coaching during shutdowns and other site-based work programs.

Assist the General Manager toward completing prioritized health, and safety action items.

Participate in regional safety training initiatives and KPIs with regular monthly reporting.

Oversee and manage the fleet’s GPS-enabled video telematics system, integrating road and cab-facing cameras and telematics data to monitor vehicle location, driver behavior, and performance; deliver actionable insights and reports; and support supervisors in enforcing policy,



coaching drivers, and improving safety outcomes.

Reinforcing Compliance

Educate staff regarding Acuren’s Integrated Management System requirements and goals across the region.

Effectively coach others to increase their safety knowledge and compliance.

Conduct audits per pre-determined schedule to confirm adherence to Acuren’s IMS.

Participate as directed in internal and external system audits (client, registrar, accreditation body, and suppliers).

Identify critical safety awareness aspects for each work area and deliver training to employees.

Other work duties as assigned.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or construction environment.

Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety.

Certified Registered Safety Technician (CRST) required.

Certified Registered Safety Skilled (CRSP) considered an asset.

IRATA Level certification not required but considered an asset.

Working Conditions

Work primarily in industrial locations with time spent in regional offices and run/maintain sites. Appropriate PPE usage is required.

On-call to support operations with incident management as needed.

May require deployment as site safety officer for individual work projects in a billable role.

Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, occasional requests for assistance.

Physical job demands and requirements.

Travel to sites throughout the region required.
