They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction:Robertson is seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.Contract Period: 12 monthsPay Rate: Starting from $72 per hourLocation: Toronto, ONLocation Type: HybridBusiness Hours: Monday-Friday, core business hoursJob Responsibilities:Leads business analysis to assess client problems, opportunities and technology needs; gathers and documents functional, non-functional and volumetric requirements so modern cloud and SaaS solutions can be sized and selectedDocuments business needs and conceptual solutions through proposals, business cases, briefing notes, cost-benefit analyses and presentationsApplies re-engineering concepts to drive business improvement through automation, e-forms, workflow, eSignatures, cloud hosting and SaaS, and cost-effective service delivery Conducts research, environmental and jurisdictional scans, feasibility studies and maturity assessments across legislation, policy, standards and emerging trendsApplies Cloud First and Information Management principles, policies and records classification schemes to transform solutions, including those on enterprise IM platforms (e.G. OpenText)Evaluates bids, costs and proposal fit to business needs; prices solutions based on components and sizePerforms business, use case, conceptual/logical data, process and data flow, and workload/capacity modelling; conducts use case surveys; defines business rules and non-functional requirementsDevelops performance measures and traceability matrices, and conducts follow-upSupports testing and acceptance by developing acceptance criteria, test cases and test plansLeads stakeholder engagement, relationship management and intake; captures client strategies, plans and requirements Qualifies opportunities against business priorities and alignment to solutioning capabilityCollaborates across business and IT to build shared understanding of needs,
constraints and options; negotiates the optimal fit among themPresents business and technology concepts, needs and proposals in audience-appropriate language, from hands-on staff to decision makersBuilds frameworks, processes and templates for engagement, requirements gathering (interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, mockups), AI-enabled analysis, and proposal development Produces supporting communications, including presentations and guides on Supply Ontario's business strategies, priorities and enterprise IT solutions Program Management & Problem Solving Summarizes opportunities, solutions, risks, issues and deliverable status for I&IT management and stakeholders Identifies, analyzes and assesses risks, issues and problems using formal methodologies Develops, evaluates and implements responses and resolutions Awareness & Education Assesses training and awareness needs Develops curricula and communication plans Delivers training on business and technology topics (e.G. information management, security) to diverse audiencesExperience & Qualification Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in information management required 10+ years of hands-on experience performing business analysis for mission-critical (or business-critical) business services leading to modernization and transformation through information management and information technology 10+ years of experience delivering business analysis products and meeting deadlines in fast-paced and dynamic business environments with responsibility for multiple concurrent project deliverables and complex stakeholder relationships Experience leading and conducting business analysis in order to assess clients’ business problems/opportunities and technology needs Experience conducting requirements gathering,
and documenting the business requirements (functional, non-functional, volumetrics) in such a way that I&IT solutions can be sized and determined, especially solutions deployed to cloud environments or through Software as a Service (SaaS) Experience developing sound frameworks, models, processes and templates for customer engagement, intake and requirements gathering and understanding business strategies, plans and needs, such as interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, and mockup Experience conducting stakeholder engagement and demonstrated collaboration skills across diverse functional roles in business and IT Professional certifications in Business Analysis (e.G, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)), Information Management, Records Management (e.G, Certified Records Manager (CRM)), or relevant technology certification Experience working within or supporting public sector organizations and understanding their regulatory environments Experience applying Information Management principles, concepts, policies, information and records classification schemes, and practices to inform and transform business solutions, especially those implemented on enterprise Information Management platforms (such as OpenText) Background screening is required as part of the onboarding process.
