Job Summary:

The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, planning, and reporting. This role ensures financial stability, supports business growth, and maintains compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage the company's financial strategy and annual budget.

- Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and management reports.

- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial performance.

- Oversee accounting operations, payroll, and financial controls.

- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

- Coordinate audits and liaise with external accountants and financial institutions.

- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability.

- Manage financial risks and implement cost-control initiatives.





- Support executive management with strategic financial planning and decision-making.

- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- CPA designation preferred.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, including leadership responsibilities.

- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, and corporate finance.

- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Pay: $139,463.41-$147,863.83 per year
