Financial Advisor Assistant Responsibilities

- Client Support: Handling client inquiries via phone or email, providing first-level support, and escalating complex issues to the advisor.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Managing the advisor's calendar, booking appointments, and coordinating meetings with clients, tax teams, and estate planners.
- Documentation and Reporting: Preparing, organizing, and reviewing client financial documents, investment updates, and account paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Transaction Processing: Executing trades, processing deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers under advisor instructions while adhering to compliance regulations.




- Operational Support: Maintaining client databases, managing multiple computer systems, and assisting with marketing efforts such as newsletters or seminar invitations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Education: A high school diploma or GED is the minimum; a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years in financial services, banking, or customer-facing roles
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with financial planning software, investment terminology, and compliance regulations.
- Soft Skills: Solid communication, attention to detail, multitasking, and client service skills are essential.
- Credit/Security Check: The successful candidate must pass a criminal and credit check.
