As Financial Services Associate

As a senior member of the Contact Centre sales/leadership team, your primary responsibilities are to understand the financial needs of our Members and provide the appropriate advice and recommendations. You will offer credit, investment, and asset‑management advice; identify and promote Meridian products and services; and manage Member portfolios to build lasting relationships.

You are expected to meet and exceed individual and team‑based business goals, proactively generate revenue, and refer business to other channels.

- Member Experience

- Deliver exceptional service and empathy to Members.
- Provide investment advice and appropriate credit solutions.
- Generate revenue through sales‑based activities and open new accounts.
- Maintain Mutual Fund accreditation and knowledge of market conditions.
- Use Meridian tools to deepen relationships and provide seamless service.
- Leverage virtual technology to host meetings and engage clients.
- Seek referrals through strong consultative skills.
- Resolve issues at first contact and refer complex concerns appropriately.




- Process daily work complying with policies, audits, and standards.
- Champion corporate strategies for the Contact Centre.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality.

- Innovation

- Establish and execute a compelling vision and strategy.

- Participate in business plan development for the Contact Centre.

Education, Work Experience & Credentials

- Post‑secondary education and minimum three years of equivalent work experience in a financial services sales environment.
- MFDA licensing required.

Salary

CAD $60,000 – $64,000 annually, based on skills, experience, and internal equity.

Location & Hours

Hybrid environment at 531 Lake St., St. Catharines, ON L2N 4H6. Flexible hours: 8 am‑8 pm Monday‑Friday; 8 am‑4 pm Saturday.
