Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly with a positive attitude, providing friendly and efficient service from seating to checkout
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring explicit communication with kitchen staff for timely food preparation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all financial exchanges
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure prompt service
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the dining area and service stations




- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve guests promptly while balancing multiple tables or orders

Qualifications

- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and billing accuracy
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills during high-volume periods
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
