We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies for enterprise Guidewire implementations (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter). You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure seamless functionality, high data integrity, and exceptional quality across all insurance workflows.In this role, you will Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases specifically tailored for Guidewire insurance suites (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter) Perform regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Automate API testing and backend validation to verify integrations between Guidewire and external systems, services, and databases. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.G., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback loops during releases. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams to align test automation scripts with evolving user stories, acceptance criteria, and application updates Manage test execution metrics, debug automation script failures,
and drive defect resolution using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.Required Skills6 to 10 years of professional software testing experience, with a robust, dedicated focus on Guidewire implementation and testing.Hands-on functional testing experience with one or more core Guidewire modules: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks using modern languages and tools (e.G., Java, Python, Selenium, Playwright, or specialized automated testing tools).Working knowledge of the Guidewire suite PolicyCenter (PC), ClaimCenter (CC), and BillingCenter (BC),Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.Knowledge of Agile methodologies and defect management tools (JIRA, ALM).Preferred SkillsGood to have understanding of overall insurance business and systems architecture, including how policy, claims and billing.Good understanding of SQL and database testing.We're eager to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in various ways.
