Job Purpose The Senior manager - Tax, Product & Planning - plays a key role in supporting Scotiatrust colleagues and Scotia wealth partners by providing tax support expertise, company management experience and enhancing the delivery of the total wealth offering. Key Accountabilities Providing support to Scotiatrust sales staff, trust officers and their teams, Scotiatrust tax compliance group, Aqueduct team, Client Solutions specialists, and other colleagues on issues related to tax and estate/ trust planning and philanthropy for complex clients Representing Scotiatrust in discussions with third party professionals as it pertains to ongoing management of corporations, including review of planning strategies and providing guidance to partners Reviewing, opining and/or explaining to colleagues, co-fiduciaries and beneficiaries tax planning strategies for implementation of postmortem tax planning for corporations owned and/or controlled by an estate, trust or power of attorney
