Title : Forklift - Shipper/Receiver

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $28.00 - $32.00/ hr.

Shift: Straight Shifts

DAYS: 6:00 am - 2:00pm

AFTERNOONS: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

NIGHTS: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

Shifts Available: Sunday to Saturday (flexibility required)

Assignment: High Peak Seasonal Support

Our client is an industry-leading food manufacturing company located in Brampton and is currently onboarding experienced Shipper/Receivers with Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience for their upcoming busy season.

Successful candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace. Applicants must be comfortable working in temperature-controlled areas, including freezer and cooler environments.

Job Duties:

- Load and offload incoming and outgoing shipments using Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
- Receive, store, and rotate food products following FIFO procedures
- Pick and stage orders accurately for customer shipments in accordance with food safety standards
- Process shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately as per GMP guidelines
- Record shortages, damaged goods, and shipment discrepancies
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation




- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within warehouse and cooler/freezer areas
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Job Requirements:

- Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift certification (Walkie certification is an asset). No inhouse certifications
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable forklift operating experience
- Previous shipping/receiving preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety practices is an asset
- Flexible to work weekends and various shifts as required
- Basic computer skills with the ability to read and write in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in cooler and freezer environments (jackets and gloves provided)
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check
