The role also contributes to the overall FPGA design and verification strategy while providing technical leadership and mentorship. Define FPGA architectures in collaboration with system, hardware, and software teams. Lead FPGA development, integration, verification, and validation activities.





Prepare and review technical documentation and compliance evidence in accordance with DO-254. Review and approve complex FPGA designs and implementations. Act as the technical interface between systems, software, hardware, and manufacturing teams.

Contribute to continuous improvement of FPGA development practices. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Engineering degree (Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or related field); Master’s or PhD considered an asset. ~10 to 15 years of FPGA development experience, preferably in the aerospace industry. ~ Robust expertise in VHDL, Verilog, FPGA/ASIC development and verification. ~ Knowledge of FPGA architectures, high-speed interfaces, memories, and embedded processing. ~ Experience with avionics products (mission computers, displays, embedded aerospace systems). ~ Programming experience with Python, C, and C++.

The work model is hybrid (at least 3 days at the office). Professional proficiency in spoken and written French is mandatory. Knowledge of English is required to communicate and work with customers outside the province of Quebec.
