Step into a pivotal role as a Community Mental Health Nurse in Saskatoon, offering comprehensive support to individuals with chronic mental illnesses. Engage in intensive case management and crisis intervention while promoting mental health in the community. This full-time temporary position, part of the Mental Health and Addiction Services, requires expertise in providing case management, medication oversight, and community education.
As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, you will support clients and families through documentation, advocacy, and educational initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive case management for mental health clients
- Manage medication and conduct crisis interventions
- Lead group/community education initiatives
- Document client progress and advocate for needs
- Mentor students and collaborate with community agencies Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a mental health setting
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing or equivalent
- CPR and BLS certification
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Qualified Assault Response Training (PART) Drive mental health improvement with your skills in Saskatoon and make a significant community impact.
