property and equipment at 3 Civic Plaza/Civic Hotel - Autograph CollectionKey AccountabilitiesProvide excellent service to guests, residents, employees and the general publicMaintain safety and protect the facility and property from any real or perceived threatsProactively patrol and monitor the property to prevent fire, theft, and vandalismMonitor all access points and provide access as neededAssist the public, contractors and others in accessing the facilityConduct routine visual inspections of the building (maintenance issues, repairs, etc)Respond to all building/hotel emergencies, including guest and facility related emergenciesAssist with the emergency procedures, including fire alarms, evacuation or lockdownComplete Incident Reports and Administrative duties as requiredPerform other related duties as requiredEducation and ExperienceValid BC Security Worker LicenseOccupational First Aid Level 1Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the Hotel, Residential or customer service industrySkills and AbilitiesMentally and physically able to deal with assigned tasksPhysically able to withstand extensive periods of walking, sitting, and standingAbility to work day, afternoon and overnight shifts as requiredAbility to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a teamKnowledge of CCTV and access control systemsExcellent Service attitude, Communication and conflict resolution skillsFluent in English with additional language(s) an asset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
