Global Sourcing Operations Strategy Expert Location: Longueuil, Quebec (Canada). Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, flexible hours, on‑site only. About the Role You will serve as the strategic thread that integrates and extends existing sourcing plans into a cohesive whole, acting as an internal strategic consultant to influence senior leadership decisions regarding the company’s industrial footprint for the next decade. Responsibilities Architect of Make or Buy: lead critical financial, operational, and strategic analyses to determine optimal industrial footprint for current and future engine programs. Category Strategist (Forgings, Castings, Machining): design and implement integrated strategies for specified product categories to optimize the global network and ensure a robust supply base. Master of Data and Value: conduct deep‑dive spend analysis by value stream to identify opportunities for margin expansion, cost reduction, and measurable value creation. Guardian of Organizational Continuity: ensure seamless transition between strategic design phases and operational deployment (NPI) and alignment of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance. Business Case Leader: prepare and present complex strategic dossiers to P&WC and RTX leadership committees to secure stakeholder buy‑in for high‑impact initiatives. Global Capability Exploration: identify and qualify current technological partners domestically and abroad to build an agile and robust global operations network.



Qualifications 10‑12 years of professional experience in aerospace OEM or high‑precision manufacturing, with recognized expertise in complex manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining). Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business with strong technical exposure; MBA is a major asset. Strong analytical rigor: ability to extract strategic insights from complex data, financial models, and spend analysis. Exceptional communication and influence skills to synthesize complex issues and build consensus in a global, matrixed environment. Demonstrated project leadership: ability to lead large‑scale international projects with total autonomy, sharp strategic judgment, and collaborative spirit.
