The Physician

Assistant will assist emergency department physicians with assigned tasks and patient care duties. Candidates should have solid skills in conducting patient interviews, performing physical examinations, and providing preventive health counseling. This role involves significant responsibility with tasks delegated directly by supervising physicians, adding value to the patient care process. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient interviews and gather medical histories
- Perform physical examinations and relevant procedures




- Provide preventive health care counseling
- Execute controlled acts as delegated by physicians
- Assist with other medical tasks within the physician’s practice Requirements:
- Graduate of McMaster or Consortium Physician Assistant Program
- Certified by the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications
