The temporary EA position will commence August 26th 2026, and will end on June 25th 2027. The successful candidate will have knowledge of child development and the importance of play. The successful candidate will understand and follow Early Learning and Child Care Licensing Regulations.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

Level 1 Early Childhood Educator or higher or willingness to complete funded certification

Current Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search

Current Intervention Record Check Desired Qualifications And Attributes Knowledge of child development and experience working with children aged 5-12 years old.

Responsibilities may include toileting and/or diapering

Provide a play-based learning environment guided by “Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework”





Work within the Elementary School to provide an inclusive environment. Work collaboratively with the Early Learning Coordinator and the school principal/ designate.

Local knowledge and experience with culture and traditions Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff Have a willingness to participate in professional learning activities
