Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced and highly organized Funding Programs Manager to oversee and continually improve our funding research and reporting operations.

This role is responsible for managing our funding department, overseeing funding researchers and contractors, maintaining the quality and accuracy of customer funding reports, and ensuring our funding database remains current with the latest Canadian grants, loans, tax credits, and investment programs.

You'll also build relationships with funding organizations across Canada to obtain insights beyond publicly available information, helping our members receive the most accurate and valuable funding recommendations possible.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where research quality and continuous improvement are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Department Leadership

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Funding Department
- Supervise and support a team of funding researchers and contractors
- Review completed funding reports to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve report quality

Funding Intelligence




- Monitor newly announced funding programs across Canada
- Track programs nearing deadlines, closing, or changing eligibility requirements
- Maintain an up-to-date internal funding database
- Research government announcements and funding releases
- Build relationships with funding administrators and program managers

Quality Assurance
- Ensure funding matches are accurate and appropriate for each customer
- Review funding recommendations before they are delivered
- Identify trends and continuously improve the funding matching process
- Develop internal best practices and documentation

Internal Support
- Provide guidance to Customer Support and Sales regarding funding eligibility
- Assist leadership in identifying improvements to funding operations
- Help prioritize research efforts based on customer demand

Pay: $56,500.00 per year
