Job Overview

We are looking for a hardworking individual to join our team for the season. We need someone with the muscle and drive to help with the heavy lifting, from incoming tree and shrub orders to handling general maintenance and basic repairs. This role is perfect if you enjoy staying active outdoors and don't mind getting your hands dirty.

Your day-to-day will involve a variety of tasks to help keep our yard in top shape. We are looking for an applicant with weekday daytime availability (typically shifts are M-F 8-4pm or 9-5pm 3-4 days per week).

Key Responsibilities

- Spring/Summer/Fall: accurately build brick orders and help restock palleted products, assist in helping customers load brick, bagged and other materials, assist in offloading plant orders as they arrive and ensuring they are placed correctly, work projects to help grow the business, general maintenance of the property
- Winter: Snow clearing and general shop projects as needed to prep for the upcoming busy spring

Qualifications

· Must be physically fit, able to safely lift 75 lbs,



and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

· A dependable team player with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for all shifts.

· Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow directions in a rapid-paced environment.

· Effective communication skills and a positive attitude, with a genuine desire to learn yard equipment operations.

· Previous experience in a warehouse, garden centre, or construction setting is considered a strong asset.
