General Supervisor, Energy and Infrastructure (MEA02041) Report to the Superintendent – Energy & Infrastructure. Coordinate teams responsible for infrastructure maintenance as well as all electrical activities in the department. Play a key role in best practices and quality control management. Ensure goals and objectives are achieved while promoting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities - Oversee electrical power distribution and planning for the mine sites (Surface & Underground).

- Ensure valuable maintenance practices for preventive, corrective and modification maintenance of both camps (Meadowbank & Amaruq) for 900 employees, including sewage and water treatment plants.
- Ensure good maintenance practices for preventive, corrective, and modification of power plants running generators and satellite gensets.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.





- Electrical Engineering or a Technical Degree in Electrical is considered an asset.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in roles related to E&I;, with 3 to 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent knowledge of power plant auxiliary systems and electrical network operation.
- Experience in underground and open-pit mining is considered an asset.
- Demonstrate skills in budget management and management systems.
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.

Your Work Schedule Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days of transportation and rest.
