This role oversees financial reporting across U.S. and Canadian entities and is crucial for maintaining adherence to U.S. GAAP and industry standards. You will partner cross-functionally with teams in Tax, Legal, and FP&A;, contributing to streamlined processes and audit readiness. Your technical knowledge will guide complex transactions and facilitate the organization’s growth efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review financial statements for regulatory compliance
• Support audits by coordinating with external auditors
• Research accounting standards and their organizational impact
• Maintain accurate financial reporting documentation
• Lead improvements in accounting processes and efficiency
Requirements:
• CPA designation (Canada and/or U.S.) required
• 10+ years in accounting with significant reporting focus
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems
• Familiarity with consolidated financial statements
• Ability to manage audits and technical accounting issues
