Duties

- Assist with planting, transplanting, watering, and pruning plants to promote healthy growth.
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure consistent watering schedules tailored to plant needs.
- Use hand tools such as pruners, trowels, and shovels for routine gardening tasks.
- Monitor environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, and light levels to optimize plant health.
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance on greenhouse equipment and irrigation systems.
- Lift heavy containers or bags of soil, fertilizer, or plants safely and efficiently.




- Keep detailed records of plant care activities, growth progress, and environmental data.

Requirements

- Prior experience or strong interest in horticulture or gardening is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and plant care techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot greenhouse equipment.
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely on a regular basis.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as well as inside the greenhouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining plant health.
