Job Summary The Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre is a program of Provincial Services Division of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. It is a provincial mental health facility providing on‑site, community, outreach and ancillary services to youth 12‑17 with psychiatric, behavioural or emotional difficulties, including those who are not criminally responsible. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the objective is to enhance community capacity to care for challenging youth with a closer‑to‑home focus.

Role Under the direction of a Shift Supervisor or Program Coordinator you will provide direct, comprehensive nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team, offering on‑site, community, outreach and ancillary mental health services. Your work will impact the lives of youth, families and communities.

Qualifications - Registered or eligible for immediate registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.

- One (1) year or more of work experience in adolescent psychiatry. Preference may be given to applicants with the following:




- Experience working with adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Applicants who self‑identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit.
