We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide support for a client in Crossfield, AB. Full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities are available.

The successful candidate will provide essential personal care and companionship while supporting the client's comfort, safety, and independence in their home.

Please note: The client is a heavy smoker and smokes inside the home. The client lives with his mother, who also smokes inside the home. Applicants must be comfortable working in a home with heavy indoor cigarette smoke. The household also has two cats, so caregivers should be comfortable working around pets.

Duties

- Provide direct personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting the client's independence.
- Assist with mobility, transfers
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the office.




- Provide specialized care when required.
- Communicate effectively with family members and the care team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or complex care needs is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and able to maintain professionalism in all situations.
- Comfortable working in a home with heavy indoor cigarette smoke.
- Comfortable working in a home with two cats.
