The role will be responsible for safely operating and/or have the ability to operate various equipment to assist in the collection of various liquid and solid hazardous wastes.Key Responsibilities:- Operate motorized vehicles to move material between client sites.- Must be familiar and demonstrate ability to operate a tanker.- Accurately complete numerous and various documents, including pre/post trip inspections, manifests, log books, VCRs, etc., in a legible manner to meet compliance requirements.- Ensure that all equipment and systems are operated as per GFL standards.- Knowledge of Reg. 347/558, WMHIS, MTO regulations.- Drivers are required to adhere to all Environmental and Health & Safety policies and procedures.- Load and unload trucks.- Perform other duties assigned.Requirements:- Three (3) years of driver/operator experience is preferred.- High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent- Must possess an AZ license and submit current abstracts,



personal and CVOR (no demerit points)- Must have solid written communication skills in order to complete required paperwork.- Must have exceptional verbal communication skills to be able to interact with internal and external customers.- Prior experience operating heavy machinery, including farm in an agricultural workplace is a definite asset.
