The Site Supervisor position is located in Ottawa, Ontario.The Site Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and management for construction projects in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Site Supervisor shall foster an workplace of cooperation and support to enable employees to perform to their maximum potential.Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToOversee construction site activities and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.Monitor productivity and provide daily site reports to Project Managers.Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, site records, and as-built drawings.Assist with project scheduling and schedule updates.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.Conduct site safety orientations for employees,



subcontractors, and visitors throughout the duration of the project.Perform regular site safety inspections and address identified deficiencies.Ensure all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are effectively communicated and implemented.Develop and maintain qualified working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.Work closely with Project Managers to identify, communicate, and resolve site-related issues.Attend construction and project coordination meetings with owners, consultants, and project stakeholders.Support project planning, execution, and closeout activities as required.Maintain a clean, organized, and productive worksite.Competency RequirementsChange OrientationCustomer FocusProblem Solving and InnovationTeamwork and CollaborationValues and Respects OthersQualifications10 years of experience in the construction Industry, preferably in:Civil / StructuralPlumbing & ElectricalCollege degree/trade qualification or equivalent field experienceSkills, Abilities,

The starting salary will be determined based on several factors such as the successful candidate’s qualifications, including but not limited to education and experience. Base pay is one component of Black & McDonald’s total rewards package.
