Introduction
WSP’s Resources subsector, part of the Energy, Resources & Industry business line, supports mining and heavy industrial clients across Canada from early‑stage concepts to EPCM execution and site closure. Our national team delivers engineering excellence and project execution that moves industries forward.
Location
Sudbury, Ontario office.
Responsibilities
- Drive resource and budget planning to keep projects on track.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables across all disciplines for seamless execution.
- Optimize workforce planning to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time.
- Own project schedules and cost control, delivering accurate, timely reports.
- Manage project changes proactively to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
- Champion HSE and quality standards, raising the bar for operational excellence.
- Represent WSP confidently in meetings, presentations, and stakeholder discussions.
- Respond quickly and effectively to scope‑related matters.
- Capture and share lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to business development efforts through proposals, scope development, and client engagement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, with EIT, CET, or P.Eng. considered an asset.
- 8+ years of consulting experience supporting mining and/or heavy industrial projects.
- 3+ years of hands‑on project management for multidiscipline project environments.
- Skilled at navigating client interactions within diverse project teams.
- Highly organized, self‑driven, and motivated to advance your career.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
