Elevate workplace safety as a Health and Safety Technician with Transat. Support health committees and manage workers' compensation claims to enhance safety protocols and programs. In this role, you will partner with the Manager of Occupational Health and Safety to provide critical administrative and operational backing to local health and safety committees.

You will participate in meetings, coordinate medical absence files, and oversee medical claims with a focus on continuous improvement in safety practices. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining a safe work setting for all employees. Key Responsibilities:

- Attend local health and safety committee meetings as needed
- Administer short-term medical absences under seven days




- Conduct initial interviews for workplace accident investigations
- Track completion of monthly workplace inspections
- Maintain and organize first aid attendant training Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Minimum one year of relevant experience or equivalent
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools
