Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and enhance workplace health, safety, and compliance programs across our operations. The successful candidate will develop safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and work closely with teams to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.

- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and company standards.

- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.

- Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

- Deliver safety training, orientation programs, and ongoing employee education.

- Monitor safety performance metrics and recommend continuous improvements.

- Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a proactive safety culture.

- Maintain accurate safety documentation,



regulatory records, and compliance reports.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in a health and safety management or leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and industry best practices.

- Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and health and safety reporting systems.

- Professional certification such as CRSP, NCSO, or equivalent is considered an asset.

Pay: $88,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
