We’re seeking Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians to maintain the diverse fleet of mining equipment across our four mining operations. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician at EVR, you’ll work on large-scale mobile mining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, major repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. The fleet includes CAT 797s, D11s, 24Ms, Komatsu 980Es, and North America’s only P&H; 4800 electric shovel. 4x4 and 8x8 shift schedules available consisting of days and nights.

maintain and repair mobile off-road mining equipment including haul trucks, graders, bulldozers, excavators, shovels, loaders, and other heavy equipment Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent Experience working with off-road heavy equipment Background in mining, construction, agriculture, forestry, oil & gas, or other heavy-industry environments The position is site-based at EVR operations in the Elk Valley. Ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, BC is necessary.
