Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and machinery used in manufacturing and industrial environments. Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, industrial machinery, and manufacturing equipment.
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and control system diagrams to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical wiring.
- Use specialized tools including welding equipment, HVAC tools, and low voltage testers to carry out repairs effectively.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history.




- Collaborate with team members to analyze equipment performance data and implement improvements for increased efficiency.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control systems used in industrial automation.
- Experience working with CMMS software for maintenance planning and documentation.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, boiler operation, and low voltage electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics with precision; industrial electrician experience is a plus.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to troubleshoot issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
