Techo-Bloc is looking for a mechanic to maintain and repair its fleet of mobile equipment and company vehicles. Our fleet includes a wide variety of equipment, including more than 40 forklifts with capacities of 3,000 lbs and above, primarily Caterpillar, Toyota, Hyster, and Linde models, as well as aerial lifts, wheel loaders, and various company-owned vehicles. Responsibilities

- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts, mobile equipment, and the company’s automotive fleet

- Inspect equipment and verify the proper operation of Caterpillar, Toyota, Hyster, and Linde forklifts

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues





- Complete required repairs and replace defective parts using hand, power, and mechanical tools

- Review inspection reports to identify and complete the work required to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently

- Lubricate equipment and perform recommended preventive maintenance

- Clean forklifts, vehicles, and heavy equipment using the appropriate tools and equipment

- Test repaired equipment to confirm proper operation and ensure repairs meet manufacturer requirements

- Keep tools and work areas clean, safe, and organized

- Document all maintenance and repair work performed

- Travel, as needed, between company facilities located within an approximately 5 km radius to perform maintenance and repairs

- Perform any other related duties
