Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Child Care Provider/Parent’s Helper to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide attentive care and support to children in a home setting, assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and engaging activities that promote their development and well-being. Responsibilities

- Supervise, care for, and ensure the safety of 4 children in a private home setting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and nap times to promote comfort and consistency.
- Support children’s learning through teaching activities, play, and age-appropriate educational exercises
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning toys,



children’s areas, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress, routines, and any concerns that arise.

Experience

- Knowledge of meal preparation and cooking for children.
- Demonstrated ability to perform cleaning tasks related to childcare environments
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, flexibility, and positive communication skills
- Previous experience in a home-based childcare setting is an asset
