Royal Oak Senior Living is a 103 suite Retirement Community located in the beautiful St. Thomas Ontario. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and comforting home for our residents where they can flourish and enjoy all that life has to offer.

Responsibilities:

Housekeepers perform a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure the residence is maintained in a safe, clean and sanitary condition. MUST be available to work every other weekend.

Job Duties

- Cleaning and disinfecting resident suites, including removing bed linens and making beds, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchenettes, washing floors, and other housekeeping tasks;
- Cleaning and maintaining all resident common areas, offices, hallways, etc., as per job routines;
- Performing laundry services for residents,



as required;
- Replenishing housekeeping carts and maintaining tidy storage areas;
- Other related duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

- Minimum of one year of Housekeeping experience in a retirement or residential setting
- Positive communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to quickly problem solve while multi tasking

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
