- Education: Tourism Operational Management- Diploma in Tourism

The English River Inn is a cozy, independent roadside motel located right off Highway 17 (Trans-Canada Highway) in English River, in northwestern Ontario’s Kenora/Thunder Bay district border area, steps from Umber Lake.

Job duties and Responsibilities:

- Supervise and co-ordinate the work of light duty, specialized cleaners and janitors.
- Inspect facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- May hire and train cleaning staff.
- Prepare work schedule and co-ordinate activities with other workers.
- Coordinate with management to Prepare cleaning budget, estimate costs and keep financial records.
- Order cleaning inventory and keep record of receipts.
- May perform certain cleaning duties.
