House Person – Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops Location: Kamloops, BC Department: Housekeeping Reports To: Working Housekeeper Job Type: Part-time, Permanent (Days/Nights) Pay: $18.62 - $20.69 About the Role We are currently seeking a House Person to join our Housekeeping team. In this role, you will help maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience throughout the hotel’s public and back-of-house areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and understands that clean, well-maintained spaces are essential to exceptional hospitality.

What You’ll Do Maintain cleanliness of all public areas including the lobby, elevators, corridors, fitness centre, pool deck, washrooms, banquet spaces, restaurant areas, staff rooms, and other shared spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, clean windows and glass, and spot-clean carpets and upholstery Clean and restock public washrooms with required supplies such as soap and paper products Remove garbage and recycling and transport waste to designated disposal areas Assist with general exterior and grounds cleanliness as required Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages promptly Respond courteously to guest requests when required and maintain a professional appearance in guest-facing areas Support the housekeeping team and assist other departments as needed What We’re Looking For A positive attitude and strong attention to detail Commitment to cleanliness, quality,



and guest service Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written) Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays Legally entitled to work in Canada Working Conditions Fast-paced hospitality environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and varied indoor and outdoor conditions. Scheduling may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
