We're a passionate, purpose-driven startup on a mission to become a global brand empowering English learners everywhere.

Role Overview

We're looking for a driven HR Intern to own the full 360° recruitment cycle for our growing remote team — not a shadow-and-observe role, but hands-on ownership from sourcing to onboarding. You'll work directly with experienced mentors while making real hiring decisions that shape our organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Write and publish job postings for live, global roles
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates from around the world
- Schedule and conduct interviews; help develop evaluation frameworks
- Maintain accurate, confidential candidate and personnel records
- Assist with HR policy documentation, compliance basics,

and employee benefits inquiries
- Help manage HR databases and HRIS/productivity tools
- Contribute to internal communications that foster a positive remote work culture

What You'll Gain

- Full ownership of real recruitment decisions from day one
- Direct mentorship from experienced HR professionals
- Exposure to HR operations within a digital education setting
- Collaborative, international team culture with genuine creative freedom

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Foundational understanding of HR concepts and genuine interest in an HR career
- Familiarity with HR policies, compliance basics, and personnel management principles
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask remotely
- Clear written and verbal English communication; additional languages a plus
- Comfortable with digital tools (spreadsheets, document management, HRIS systems)
- Able to work professionally and respectfully across cultures and time zones

Transparency Note

- As an early-stage startup with a limited budget, this is currently an unpaid internship. We share this openly upfront and welcome applicants for whom this arrangement genuinely works.
