Shipyards Responsibilities
Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates Prepare design concepts, sketches or models for approval Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications Answer inquiries from clients and other company personnel Select, classify, catalogue and weed library materials Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
AutoCAD Certification Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge
AutoCAD Equipment and machinery experience
HVAC Area of work experience
Quality assurance or control Fabrication Project coordination Reliability engineering Design Specialization or experience
3D Modeling Area of specialization
