Orchard Park Dental & Implant Centre has been serving Kelowna and surrounding communities since 2002. We are full service dental practice, providing services ranging from Laser, restorative, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry, to dental Implants, periodontics, endodontics, botox treatments and much more. Led by Dr Perry Kreway, we are very proud of our 4.9 Google Star rating! Our team of general dentists and clinicians are highly regarded in their field, bring extensive experience to provide all patients with the highest quality of dental care services. Our dental health professionals regularly attend courses and dental conventions and are member of various professional dental associations to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession. We are conveniently located in Orchard Park Mall.

Wage

The wage for this Hygiene Coordinator position is $23-$25/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role

- Optimize the daily Dental Hygiene appointment schedule(s) to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps
- Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
- Encourage patient acceptance of the dental treatment plan by meeting their needs, answering questions and creating value for the proposed treatment
- Present treatment options, review payment plans, answer questions and overcome objections to motivate patients to case acceptance
- Build strong relationships with patients to ensure trust and loyalty
- Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments
- Complete patient billing following treatment, process payments, submit insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries in a professional and positive manner

About You

- Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Administrator is required
- Knowledge and understanding of oral treatment plans and ability to educate patients is required
- Experience with dental software programs is required
- Clinical background is considered an asset
