Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada | Hours: 37.5 | Line of Business: Risk Management | Pay: CAD 115,600.00 – 163,200.00 The Senior Manager, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Strategy and Governance will strengthen enterprise‑wide oversight of third‑party risk across TD. As a second‑line leader, you will develop and mature TPRM strategy, governance frameworks, policies, and practices to identify, assess, monitor, report, and mitigate third‑party risk and support senior business, risk, and compliance partners with a risk‑based approach aligned with TD’s appetite and regulatory expectations. Key Accountabilities Lead the ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise TPRM strategy, governance frameworks, policies, standards, methodologies, and related procedures. Define second‑line oversight and effectively challenge first‑line third‑party risk activities, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, issue management, and escalation. Support governance routines and senior management forums by preparing high‑quality materials, insights, recommendations, and decision support on third‑party risk matters. Monitor internal and external developments, including regulatory expectations, emerging risks, and industry practices, and assess implications for TD’s TPRM program. Drive consistent implementation of TPRM requirements across business segments and corporate functions, promoting alignment with TD’s risk appetite and enterprise risk management expectations. Contribute to the development and enhancement of reporting, metrics, and indicators to provide timely, actionable insights on the health, effectiveness, and maturity of the TPRM program. Partner with business, risk, control, compliance, procurement, legal, technology, and operational resiliency stakeholders to support a coordinated and risk‑based approach to third‑party risk management. Lead or support strategic initiatives, remediation activities,



and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen TPRM governance, controls, documentation, and operating effectiveness. Provide leadership, coaching, and subject‑matter expertise to team members and stakeholders, fostering a solid risk culture and high standards of execution. Drive shareholder value by ensuring third‑party risk and resiliency frameworks and methodologies adhere to enterprise priorities and internal/external requirements. Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate, and functions, maintaining alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements. Conduct meaningful analysis to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and assess the effectiveness of programs, policies, and practices. Lead remediation plans to address performance, risk, or governance issues and continuously improve efficiency within your team. Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite. Experience & Education Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, technology, mathematics, economics, or related field. Graduate degree, such as MBA or Master of Science, preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated responsibility for second‑line oversight of a non‑financial risk domain. Strong knowledge of third‑party risk concepts—contracts, vendor management, procurement, and associated processes. Proven ability to lead a team’s work portfolio independently and recognize when escalation is required. Strategic and operational awareness, excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
