Our model draws on traditional Southeast Asian postpartum practices — centred on rest, nourishment, and dedicated support — delivered in a modern, evidence-informed way.
We’re focused on deeply relational, 1:1 care where your skills directly shape a family's experience during the postpartum period and have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with them. What You'll Do As a Postnatal Care Specialist, you'll provide proactive in-home postpartum support for mothers and newborns, including: Supporting mom's physical and emotional recovery
Guiding feeding, sleep habits, soothing, bathing, and newborn routines
Providing lactation support and postpartum education
Preparing nourishing meals and light household support
Facilitating Alma Care infant care workshops Shift Types Daytime shifts (minimum 4 hours)
Overnight shifts (10–12 hours)
— our overnight specialists are the primary support for mom and baby through the night; this role requires you to remain alert and awake for the duration of the shift What We're Looking For Hands-on experience supporting postpartum women and newborns
Breastfeeding and newborn sleep support experience
Vulnerable Sector Check (within past year)
Valid Infant CPR (Level C) and First Aid
Food Handler certification (preferred)
Personal skilled liability insurance
Reliable transportation within a 40km radius
Experienced Certified doulas, RNs, RPNs and internationally trained nurses/midwives,
