Enhance Indigenous recruitment efforts while engaging communities in a meaningful way. Employ culturally responsive methods to support students from initial contact to enrollment. This Officer will report to the Manager of Indigenous Initiatives, focusing on delivering effective recruitment for a range of post-secondary programs.
Your role will involve developing relationships with Indigenous communities while promoting the Polytechnic’s educational offerings. You will contribute to improving systemic barriers through proactive community outreach and relationship-building efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Indigenous-focused recruitment strategies
- Develop respectful community relationships
- Organize events and promotional outreach activities
- Analyze recruitment effectiveness through data
- Support Indigenous decision-making processes Requirements:
- Degree/diploma in relevant educational fields
- Five years’ experience in recruiting or marketing
- Knowledge of Indigenous community dynamics
- Proven event coordination skills
- Class G driver’s license valid in Ontario Leverage your expertise to build impactful relationships, enhance recruitment, and foster success for Indigenous students within the education system.
